This cue holds a special place in Buttjer Cue history as the very first custom cue ever designed and built in the original shop in 2011. More than just a cue, it represents the beginning of a journey dedicated to craftsmanship, innovation, and a passion for building one-of-a-kind cues.Â
Constructed with a rich ebony forearm, the cue features six floating Birdseye Maple points that create a striking contrast against the dark background. The design continues seamlessly through the cue with a beautifully figured Birdseye Maple handle, providing both visual warmth and a comfortable feel in hand. In the ebony butt sleeve, six matching floating Birdseye Maple points mirror the forearm design, creating a balanced and timeless aesthetic from top to bottom.
A stainless steel joint collar adds durability and a classic finishing touch while complementing the cue's clean, traditional lines. Though simpler than many of the highly intricate cues that would follow, this foundational design showcases the attention to detail and precision that would become hallmarks of Buttjer Cue craftsmanship.
As the first cue ever to leave the shop, this piece marks the start of a tradition of custom cue making and serves as a reminder of where it all began. It remains an important milestone in the evolution of Buttjer Cues and a testament to the dedication that has driven every custom build since.
