Vietnam veteran Ray Frederickson envisioned a tribute cue honoring his service and the sacrifices of those who served in the Vietnam War. It was an honor to bring his vision to life.
The cue features an ebony forearm accented with four long points veneered in the Vietnam Service Ribbon colors of red, green, and yellow, complemented by four short curly maple points. Seven stitch rings and a segmented curly maple handle add depth and craftsmanship throughout the design.
The centerpiece of the cue is a series of four Vietnam War Campaign Ribbon inlays wrapped around the lower portion of the butt sleeve. Each ribbon is meticulously constructed from numerous individual inlays, contributing to a total of 71 inlays throughout the cue. Custom-made joint protectors complete this one-of-a-kind tribute, creating a meaningful and lasting memorial to Ray’s service and the Vietnam veterans he wished to honor.
